Fandom Stars[]
1. How long have you been on the Fandom platform?
Veggie: Well, it all started a long long time ago in a galax—I mean, back on May 31st of 2021, I created my first Fandom account and a few days later on June 3rd, I joined the Hazbin Hotel Wiki.
2. What inspired you to become a Fandom Star and contribute to wikis on Fandom?
Veggie: Back when I joined the HH Wiki, there were numerous things that were considered…bad. One of which was Fandom’s infamous gore troll who casually gave us a visit every night. As time went on, the more it became apparent that the wiki needed help. I stepped into the spotlight to be a thread moderator for the wiki when the current admins had revamped their staff application process. I joined Fandom Stars because I wanted to make a change. And so far, I have. A few of the Stars in the program are there because of my recommendation, and they have been amazing members thus far.
3. How has being a Fandom Star enhanced your experience as a contributor on various wikis?
Veggie: I think the association and lessons I had to learn from the more experienced users have helped me a lot to grow, thus giving me more determination to do better.
4. What has been your favorite wiki to edit?
Veggie: This is a very good question. I don’t really have a favorite wiki to edit as, most of the time, editing is just fun anyway, lol.
5. What are some of the most rewarding moments you've had while editing and engaging with the community on Fandom wikis?
Veggie: I think the most rewarding moments throughout my Fandom Career is seeing the impact I have on other people as well as understanding a vast range of emotions given by a large group of differing individuals.
6. How do you balance your time between creating content for wikis and interacting with fans and fellow contributors?
Veggie: Time exists lol? Half the time I don’t even know how I make time, it just happens. I am a person who is bad at plans and just wings it. Half the time it works while other times I want to throw my computer out the window lol.
7. What advice do you have for aspiring Fandom Stars who want to make a positive impact on the wikis they are passionate about?
Veggie: As irritating as your job on Fandom might be, don’t throw your computer out the window. That and, there’s always room to grow even when you have experience. There will be things you won’t have ever seen before. And when those occur, always think how it will affect your community. Community always comes first before anything else.
Movies and TV[]
1. What movie or TV show has the best soundtrack in your opinion, and why?
Veggie: When it comes to shows and movies, I mainly don’t focus on soundtracks as much as I focus on the actual visual aspects. But if it came down to me choosing, when it comes to tv shows, Hazbin Hotel, Murder Drones, and Infinity Train have the best soundtracks. For movies, the Kung Fu Panda and Black Panther franchises, hands down.
2. How do you think the rise of streaming services has impacted the entertainment industry?
Veggie: I have mixed feelings about streaming services but I will spare details. A positive effect would be that shows are available to anyone who buys a subscription. Negative effect is that they aren’t available to those who can’t/won’t buy a subscription.
3. Who is your favorite actor?
Veggie: Oooo good question. It’s really hard to choose one. But I’ve come to have a liking for Keith David, Michael Kovach, Brandon Rogers, and the literal God (Morgan Freeman). Of course this isn’t a full list but just a few.
4. What movie or TV show are you currently binge-watching, and what do you enjoy most about it?
Veggie: I’m an integrator, I go from one series to another at the same time. Right now, I’m in my Anime phase. I’m now waiting for new episodes of My Hero Academia to come out and also watching SPY X FAMILY for some odd reason.
Anime[]
1. What is your all-time favorite movie or anime, and why does it hold a special place in your heart?
Veggie: My Hero Academia, definitely. I find the character creativity very inspiring. I’m an artist. I create plots and characters in my free time. This show really gives me the inspiration and ideas I could use for my own will.
Books[]
1. If you could write a story, what would it be about and what would you want the takeaway to be?
Veggie: I’m not much of an author as I am a show plot maker. But I’ve had ideas for sci-fi novels but couldn’t figure out how to write it without ripping off Orion Scott Card and Avatar lol.
Gaming[]
1. What gaming platform (console, PC, mobile, etc.) do you prefer, and why?
Veggie: PC and Mobile. They’re the two platforms I have the most experience with and PC is the most versatile in my opinion.
2. Who is your all-time favorite video game character, and what makes them special to you?
Veggie: Definitely Catnap from Poppy Playtime. While he is the antagonist of the third game in the franchise, as seen in some promotional music videos by CG5, he is portrayed as a anti-hero, wanting to protect his kind and shows remorse for all the deadly events that had occurred in the toy factory.
Veggie, thank you for your support and for always stepping up to provide feedback! I see your growth as a Star, and the warmth and kindness you extend to others, as well as myself, is truly special. I appreciate you always making the effort and taking the extra step when I need you to shift! You are truly valued and appreciated!
